Mydor added to a handicap win at Tipperary back in May when justifying favouritism at Fairyhouse in the Special Offers In Bobbyjo Bistro Handicap Hurdle.
The 5/2 favourite challenged early in the straight under Shane Shortall and stayed on best on the run-in to get the better of outsider King Blue
Tony Martin's charge had a length and three quarters to spare at the line, with Never Said That keeping on at one pace nearly four lengths further adrift in third.
Martin said, "It's great for the lads (Mulvany's Bar Syndicate). They're from the pub in Dunboyne and are great supporters of the local football team.
"He's not too bad and handled the ground well. He'll go for another handicap."
Shortall said, "I got a lovely run on the rail. The ground was fine there and it saved me lengths. I was able to give him a breather at the second last and he stayed on well from the last."
It was the first leg of a double for Martin who was later on the mark with the odds-on Noble Emperor in the beginners chase.
