Murtagh misses York in favour of Killarney

Fri 21st Aug 2009, 11:23

Johnny Murtagh will not take up his two engagements at York this afternoon due to his commitments to Aidan O'Brien and Ballydoyle.

The jockey was due to ride favourite Forgotten Voice in the Sky Bet Strensall Stakes and Benbaun in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes on the Knavesmire, but will instead head to Killarney for this evening's fixture.

His sole mount is O'Brien's Banyan Tree in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.
