Her top stayer Torcedor may be headed for pastures new after his sale was announced today, but there's no slowing down the Jessica Harrington momentum and tonight she landed the featured Group Three Invesco Pension Consultants Desmond Stakes at Leopardstown with Pincheck
Quickly back in action after a Cork second placing at the weekend, Pincheck (10/1) broke well and was soon tracking the leader.
Making headway to lead entering the straight, Pincheck was ridden to assert and he was three lengths clear a furlong out.
Driven out, Colm O'Donoghue's mount stayed on well inside the final furlong to defeat market-leader Masaarr by three and a quarter lengths.
"They went hard and it kind of suited him. He settled behind Donnacha, kicked off the bend and he was never going to stop," said Mrs Harrington.
"He loves it here. He won his maiden here and has been just touched off here a few times. I think it kind of suits him coming round the bend.
"That's brilliant to get. His owners Jon and Sarah Kelly are coming over for Champions Weekend so I better find something for him. I have him entered there (Boomerang Stakes).
"He's a miler and the reason I haven't run him all summer is because of the firm ground. He's a very big horse and probably would be alright on it now but I'd rather keep him right.
"He's in Killarney next week but I'll give Marshall Jennings a chance there."
