The extended 1m5f handicap saw Moon Daisy (13/2) gain her first win on Irish soil.
The daughter of Australia tracked the front-running St Clerans before coming through to lead travelling well two furlongs out. Gavin Ryan never had to pick up his stick on the Donnacha O’Brien-trained winner as he pushed her out to win by two and a quarter lengths from Lunar Power
Moon Daisy had won a Racing League handicap at Doncaster last month before disappointing in a similar contest on the all-weather track at Newcastle.
“I'm delighted with her, said Ryan.
“She struggled to get her head in front over here, she always seemed to run into one, but went to England for the Racing League and managed to score off a low weight under Kieran O'Neill.
“I'd say that probably boosted her confidence and stepping up to a mile-and-five here she's seen it out well.”
