Donagh Meyler was assured in the steer he gave Illtakeitfromhere in the Kilbeggan Patrons Club Handicap Chase and his confidence was justified when the King's Theatre gelding ran out a comfortable two and a quarter length victor.

Meyler had Paul Nolan's charge towards the back of the seven runner field, and he made his move two out.

The now dual Kilbeggan winner was soon catching the eye with the way he was travelling and he improved to lead at the last.

From there he kept on well to gain the day over Tulsa Jack

"He settled well and I told the lad to ride him with confidence and he gave him a great ride," said Nolan.

"It's a great pot to win for that standard of race."
