Me Wee Bonnie Lass enhanced her record to three from four when finishing strongly in the mares' handicap hurdle over 2m1f in Bellewstown.

She made it a treble for Gavin Cromwell in the first three races on the card and an across-the-card four-timer with the success of Madame Plaintiff in Gowran Park.

The 9/2 chance stayed on for Keith Donoghue (who was posting a double) to challenge at the last and she got the measure of front-running Jolie Coeur Allen on the run-in. First Dare finished well in second, but was a length and a-quarter adrift of the winner at the line.

Cromwell said: "Absolutely (likeable mare with a good attitude), and she was actually quite green there today. I think it is only her fourth run of her life and you'd forget that.

"She's going the right way and is a nice mare. She has won on heavy as well.

"I'm not sure where we will go next, but she has taken a few scalps there.

"It is great for the owners, they only live down in Duleek. Great to have a local winner."

Cromwell's other winners in Bellewstown were Pinot Gris ridden by Donoghue, and Club Manager
