Trainer Willie McCreery and apprentice Nathan Crosse continued a rich vein of form when teaming up to take the Buy Tickets Online At Tipperaryraces.ie Handicap with Sweetest Taboo
McCreery was saddling his eighth winner this month, while Crosse was making it six winners in the space of just nine days as the veteran sprinter landed the spoils.
The 7/1 (from 9/1) chance, sporting a visor for the first time, was prominent throughout and kept on gamely under pressure inside the final furlong to record her fourth career win over the minimum trip.
She held off the persistent challenge of Wild Bob Cat by a neck, with Art Of Unity a length and a quarter back in third.
McCreery said, "She was thriving all summer and I said I'd give her a bit of a shock and try her in a visor, so obviously they worked. The ease in the ground probably helped too as she didn't feel it as much.
"She is versatile (ground wise) and is there for the apprentices to ride. There was another girl in the yard going to ride but she was too low for her to ride.
"She wins and pays her own way and the kids can ride her so what more do you want. She leads the two-year-olds every Thursday and we'll look for another race with her somewhere."
