Max Dynamite who still holds an entry in Sunday's Bar One Racing Royal Bond Novice Hurdle, begins his career over obstacles in the Cahir Maiden Hurdle at Thurles.
The four-year-old competed at the highest level on the Flat in his native France and he showed his staying power by winning over as far as a mile and three furlongs on soft ground.
He ran in last year's French Derby and Grand Prix de Paris but has not been sighted in over a year after finishing seventh in the Prix Niel.
Now with Willie Mullins, Max Dynamite certainly won't have things all his own way here, with the likes of Phil's Magic Baily Cloud Exxaro Fact File and Walk To Freedom providing reasonable opposition.
The Susannah Ricci colours, which Ruby Walsh sports on Max Dynamite, will also getting an airing when the multiple champion jockey partners Clondaw Court in the Rock Of Cashel Hurdle.
This unbeaten Court Cave gelding had to miss a recent engagement at Punchestown as he was lame, but the lightly-raced seven-year-old, who has reportedly had his problems in the past, takes his chance here.
Barry Connell's French import Mister Red Jessica Harrington's Ttebbob and smart chaser Mount Colah are among Clondaw Court's opponents.
Whatever the fate of Mister Red, Connell no doubt will be hoping to strike with Golantilla in the Holycross Maiden Hurdle.
The Tony Martin-handled six-year-old is very talented and has contested the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham for the last two years.
He finished third to Briar Hill in the 2013 edition and connectionswill be no doubt keen to get him to the number one berth for the first time since earlier that year.
Golantilla's jumping ability shouldn't be in doubt as he first came to prominence by sluicing home in an Avaune point-to-point for the Sean O'Brien yard in December 2012.
