Dave Marnane was continuing his good run when landing The www.listowelraces.ie Median Auction Maiden with 12/1 shot Spirit Of Xaar under Colm O'Donoghue for owner Thomas Molan.

Dave Marnane was absent but winning owner and breeder Thomas Molan stated, "That was my 1st winner. I bought Riversfield Stud in Kilmallock from Dolores O'Riordan 4 years ago and invested in a couple of mares. This horse was supposed to go to the sales in Newmarket but he failed a wind test."
