Da Boy Charlie has been very heavily backed for the maiden hunters' chase at 6.30pm in Tipperary. The seven-year-old gelding's price has contracted to 13/2 from 25/1.

He was last seen finishing fifth in a maiden hunters' chase at Clonmel in March after losing a near fore shoe during the race. A first-time tongue-strap is tried today on the son of Dubai Destination who has been placed in two of his five point-to-points.

In form Philip Rothwell's Siberian Star is very popular in the three mile handicap hurdle at 4.55pm.

This six-year-old gelding is as short as 7/2 from 11/1 and was successful on his penultimate start (over this trip) at Leopardstown in March. Espion Du Chenet has halved in price (9/1 - 9/2) for the extended two mile one handicap chase at 5.25pm.
