Gordon Elliott's Bayan is the day's main market mover in the opening maiden hurdle in Cork at 2.15pm.
With two seventh places to his name the four-year-old was put in as big as 7/1 by bookmakers this morning, however, his price has plunged to a general 5/2.
In the bumper at Cork, Peter Fahey's Mines River is attracting plenty of support from 12/1 to 7/1. Sunsetstorise also has his supporters from 16/1 to 10/1 while County Champions is 5/1 from 13/2 in this competitive betting heat.
It looks like Sitcom is expected to recover losses in the 2.45. Christy Roche's mare unseated at the first in Downpatrick at the start of March. She is now Burlington Bertie 100/30 from an opening 6/1.
Turning to Fairyhouse, Tony Martin's Lagan Canal is very solid in the bumper at 5pm. The once-raced six-year-old is a general 9/1 chance from 14s. Annie Power is fully expected to land her seven-timer in the Grade 1 Mares Hurdle at 2.25 as she has been backed from 8/15 to 2/5. Missunited is easy to back from 5/1 out to 15/2.
Another 'shortie' who is popular is Benemeade in the maiden hurdle at 1.50pm. He is 4/9 from 4/6. In the same race Master Oscar has been taken at 16/1 and now trades at 9/1. Wooly Tom has his backers in the novices handicap hurdle at 3.55. The nine-year-old trained by Patrick Mooney is 16/1 from 22/1.
In the ultra-competitive Grade B novice handicap hurdle series final at 3.25, Pencilhimin has been nibbled at 14s and has been cut to 10/1.
