Mangan cool as Ice in bumper
Its The Ice I Like ran out a convincing winner of the concluding bumper at Clonmel.
Gerry Mangan sent his mount on turning for home in the two-mile contest and the Oscar gelding powered home down the straight.
Robert Tyner 's charge pulled clear in the closing stages to post a six-and-a-half length victory over long-time leader Mini Vic
The well-backed 1/2 favourite Moon Over Mandalay failed to pick up back in third.
"It took a while to get him right but we thought he should be thereabouts," said the trainer's wife Mary Tyner.
"He showed an extra gear today. If he doesn't go for a winners bumper he'll go back hurdling."
