London calling for Heffernan and O'Brien
London, near side, just gets the better of Schubert

London pipped stablemate Schubert in a head-bobbing finish to the end of the mile maiden in Dundalk.
London and Seamie Heffernan travelled strongly into the lead entering the home straight but Schubert and Ana O'Brien threw down their challenge a furlong and a half out.
The two horses were locked together in the final furlong but it was London who dropped his head on the line at just the right time.
The 7/4 favourite prevailed by a nose from the 7/2 runner-up. Both were trained by Aidan O'Brien. Live Twice (25/1) gave her supporters a place dividend, a length and a quarter off the battle for first place.
Seamie Heffernan said: "Donnacha told me that he’d be hard to beat and Aidan said that Ana was my danger.
“It was nice to be on the right side of the photo. He’s a fresh horse that has only come right the last couple of weeks.”
