Jockey Mark Walsh partnered his 12th winner of the season when guiding Liberty Counsel to a somewhat fortunate success in the ITBA & Gain Horse Feeds Supporting The Irish Racing Industry Mares Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse today.

Liberty Counsel was joined and strongly pressed by Clever Creation when that rival fell two out, with Amie Magnificient, which was close enough but under pressure in fourth, also falling at that obstacle.

Liberty Counsel, a daughter of Leading Counsel, was then left well clear and eventually recorded a four and a half lengths win over Beg La Eile

Winning trainer Dot Love was not present for the win.
