The Special Olympics Day Maiden Hurdle went along expected lines as 1/12 chance Let's Dance gained a deserved victory in smooth style under Danny Mullins at Sligo.
Placed more than once at the highest level, and in possession of 135-rating, the Susannah Ricci-owned and Willie Mullins-trained Let's Dance took over with a circuit to race and made the rest.
Jumping soundly the daughter of Poliglote was in command from two out, on the way to un-extended eight and a half length dismissal of Giant Spirit (the subject of some market support this morning into a returned 7/1).
"Hopefully she'll make a nice novice hurdler for the season ahead and all I had to do today was stay on her back and she did the job well for me," reported Danny Mullins.
"Willie will decide where she goes next. She has had plenty racing and will be well able to compete in the good novice races again next season."
The Closutton supremo himself later reported by phone: "Let's Dance will go for a winners' hurdle next."
