Laughifuwant broke well and made all to seal Galway's seven-furlong maiden for Gerry and Colin Keane.
He made full use of a good draw in stall two to break very smartly and dictate the fractions. Raynama the 5/4 favourite, certainly looked a danger approaching the home bend as she closed in second.
However, the leader kicked on in the final furlong and put Raynama away by four lengths at 5/2 from 3/1. Mona Bell picked up third-placed money at 6/1.
Gerry Keane said: "That was badly wanted! He is a nice horse and the key to him is having a cut in the ground. It was a little bit lively for him the last day and he had a little hold-up before his Curragh run.
"That was his last roll of the dice today (for the season) and it's nice to get it. He never ran a bad race and we bought him as a breezer but couldn't get him back into the sales.
"We thought we had him sold after his first run but the deal didn't materialise.
"We'll probably have him for next year, he is a big raw horse and if things go right he could improve next year."
