It proved to be a case of lucky thirteen as Catchy Lass scored after that many outings when landing the Dundalk Stadium On Facebook Maiden under Colin Keane.
This twelve furlong event saw the tempo set by clear leader Too Straight but he was reeled in two furlongs out.
The 62-rated Catchy Lass then led over a furlong out and she kept on strongly to defeat Ebadani by three and three parts of a length.
Well-backed 11/10 favourite Marty's Magic couldn't even reach the frame, coming home in fifth. Others to attract bits and pieces of support were Lioneer and Chinanigans but they could do no better than eleventh and sixth places respectively.
"She's been knocking on the door and deserved that.
"She was bred by her owner (Eamon Fanning) and he's over the moon as that's the first winner he's bred. He's from Monaghan.
"We've had three seconds in the past few weeks, from about five runners, and it's great to get a winner.
"Hopefully she can go on and win a handicap and every time she's run around here she's gone well.
"Colin gave her a great ride," stated successful trainer Anthony Mulholland in the aftermath. (AM & EM)
