Otterstown Lady from the Cathy O’Leary stable followed up on her recent win at Punchestown when coming home in front of the Poolcourt Ltd Novice Hurdle under a patient ride by Shane Hassett.

Hassett who was in rear for most made progress to join the leaders entering the straight.

The daughter of Indian Danehill was produced to lead on the run and kept on strongly to score by a convincing length and a half.

Winning trainer O’Leary said afterwards: “She’s a great mare and we’re very lucky to have her.”

“We’ll have suss things out as regard where to go next. She’s proved herself now to go anywhere we want.”
