La Dame Blanche made all on her second start in the GowranPark,ie Maiden to build upon her promising debut.

She came home fifth at Naas over a couple of furlongs further (1m2f) and was very professional today.

The daughter of Fast Company broke swiftly from the best draw in box one to grab the initiative and cornered well as she set the fractions.

She had the field hard at work turning into the home straight and was ridden by Gary Carroll to go for home approaching the final furlong.

Newcomer Touching Clouds (7/1) ran on well on the outer to close to within half a length at the line but the winner was home for all money at 8/1. Saraqael was the same distance back in third at 11/2.

"We were expecting a big run the first day and she was a bit green, I was actually a little disappointed she didn't finish even closer,” said trainer Michael Mulvany.

“I had her entered two weeks after but I wasn't just happy with her so we said we'd wait and come here.

“She was dropping back to a mile but I think she'll have no problem staying further. She's a good quality filly and I'd be hoping she can go on from this.

“The lads had another filly with me and they sold her and they will probably sell her on if the right money comes for her.”
