Curtis raced the Peintre Celebre in rear and came with a run on the outside from over one furlong out and kept on well to lead close home for a length win over Funatfuntasia

Winning trainer Kinsella said afterwards: “This lad ran at Sligo two days ago but the ground had completely gone for him.”

“We had a look at him this morning and he was very fresh and well in himself so we decided to run him and he much preferred the better ground here.”

“The owner is very keen to sell him so we’ve no definite plans for him.”
