Colin Keane was crowned champion jockey for the sixth time last weekend but is certainly not resting on his laurels as he completed a 191/1 four-timer at Dundalk this evening with Tribal Moon rounding it off in division two of the William Hill Proper Betting Handicap.
The Danny Murphy-trained gelding was available at 9/1 earlier in the day but went off an 11/2 chance and made headway up the centre of the track to lead just inside the final furlong.
The son of Teofilo kept on strongly in the closing stages to beat the front-running Manhattan Dandy by half a length with Morning Approach a further length away in third.
Keane was successful earlier on the card aboard Misappropriation (7/4), Fivefortwo (15/8) and in the featured Cooley Stakes when making all on Sakti
Murphy said: "We brought him here last week and he went well.
"He was trained in Dubai last year, but they ran out of racing because it ended on 26th March. They sent him over to me summer time.
"We couldn't get a race for him because the ground was too dry. It has worked out and I'd say he will win again.
“Thank God we are flying now. That two-year-old that won last week (Perfect Pacemaker) was sold to Hong Kong yesterday."
Murphy has enjoyed a good recent spell on the Polytrack with four winners in the past fortnight.
