"I shouldn't have run him in Fairyhouse last time as the ground was tacky and he didn't handle it," admitted trainer Tom Gibney after his Too Choose brought up a double for Colin Keane in the Dundalk Stadium On Facebook Handicap.
Keane had earlier been a winner for his boss, Ger Lyons, when narrowly getting Room To Roam home in front in the opening maiden.
Here Keane brought up the near 25/1 double when guiding To Choose to a length and a half win over Carried
"We said we'd give him another shot at Dundalk before we let him off. It's hard to let them off after a win," added Gibney.
"He's really a summer horse. We'll have a look and see what's coming up here.
"I love Dundalk, although I haven't many to run here. It's a brilliant facility."
