Timothy Cleary from Thurles saddled the 50/1 outsider Katie's Jem to land The Ireland For Horses Handicap Hurdle under Eddie Power in the colours of the Seffin Partnership.

Winning trainer Cleary said afterwards, "That was a shock, she's only a small little mare and we thought she wanted hard ground. I told Eddie to hold her up and just ride her to get home and look respectable and she certainly looked respectable there. We hadn't a bob on her."
