A winner of one of her 17 starts for Nick Gifford, Jungle Prose has turned inside out since joining Gordon Elliott during the summer and kept her winning spree going in the Bar One Racing Price Boosts Everyday Handicap Hurdle.
Having gone up 40lb in total for victories at Thurles, Down Royal and most recently Punchestown last weekend, the daughter of Yeats completed the four-timer in comfortable fashion.
Always close to the pace on the outside, she hit the front between the final two flights and no recourse to the whip was necessary as Jack Kennedy guided her home to beat Lord Erskine by a cosy length and a half.
Kennedy said: "She's a small mare but she's well able to carry weight.
"On her first run for Gordon she backed off her hurdles at Gowran and didn't really travel. Sam Ewing was on her that day and said maybe she's like a bit of room (towards the outer) and since she's been ridden like that she hasn't looked back."
Winning trainer Gordon Elliott said: “It’s great that she’s won again. She’s owned by a bunch of local lads, all good friends, who will really enjoy this.
“She’s gone up 40lb and is going to go up a few pounds again.
“We’ll look at the valuable handicap here in a few weeks and maybe the Pertemps Qualifier.”
