The 4/5 favourite Jungle Boogie made a winning debut in the Clonmel Oil Slan Abhaile INH Flat Race.

A second winner on the card for Gold Well (after Sassy Yet Classy in the 3m handicap hurdle), the 6-year-old had only Angels Dawn (8/1) to worry about in the final quarter mile but was not hard pressed to see off that one’s challenge by three and a quarter lengths in the hands of Patrick Mullins. Mercury Lane (13/2) was a long way back in third in a well strung-out field.

Winning trainer Willie Mullins (completing a treble after Power of Pause and Bachasson said: "He was immature and we waited with him and he is a nice big jumping type of horse.

"We'll probably aim him for a bumper at Christmas."
