Fresh from big race success at Down Royal on Saturday, Henry De Bromhead and Darragh O'Keeffe were back in the winners' enclosure after Jane Eire landed the opening Paddy Power From The Horse's Mouth Podcast Maiden Hurdle at Cork.

An unlucky runner-up when hampered by a loose horse at Gowran Park last time, the daughter of Balko went one place better this afternoon.

Tracking the leaders from the outset, O'Keeffe moved closer entering the home straight, as Sam Ewing led aboard the Gordon Elliott trained Grimaud

Taking over at the second last, Jane Eire soon went clear and had the race in safekeeping when a good jump at the final flight sealed the deal.

At the line, the 4/6f had eight-and-a-half-lengths in hand of Torps

Henry De Bromhead said: "She is a lovely mare who is progressing well and Peter Molony found her for Sarah (his wife) and the syndicate, so I'm delighted for them. She was good, did it really well and Darragh was brilliant on her.

"She jumped great bar the third-last and it was all good. She has been in quite a while so I might give her a break now and look towards the spring, when there are so many nice races.

"I'm a dreamer and you never know about going to Cheltenham but we'll see what everyone wants to do, as she was impressive there. She travels so that can get you a long way in a good race and we have her for fun."
