Debutante Jackie Oh proved too strong for her stablemate, and odds-on hotpot, Red Riding Hood in the Dubawi Legend Fillies Maiden at Naas.

The Ballydoyle pair came to battle it out inside the final furlong after getting the measure of front-runner Emotivo

It was the newcomer, a Galileo filly out of Jacqueline Quest, who got on top for Seamie Heffernan in the closing stages to post a half length success at odds of 4/1.

Aidan O'Brien, saddling a double on the card, said:- “She’s a very well-bred filly and handled the ground. She had a few holds ups last year and didn’t get to run. You would have to be delighted with her.

“She will go for a Trial and I’d say she will get a bit further as well.”

Jacqueline Quest was disqualified after winning the 2010 1,000 Guineas. She has been a good producer since going to stud with four black-type performers, most notably ill-fated Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf winner Line of Duty.
