There was an across the card double for Gordon Elliot today after Jetstream Jack landed the bumper at Fairyhouse to add to Roi Du Mee s victory in the feature event at Tramore.

The Beneficial gelding came into today's race having landed a point-to-point in November and travelled strongly to lead as they entered the straight.

Nina Carberry sent him clear over a furlong from home the 7/2 shot galloped on strongly in the closing stages to hold the late charge of newcomer Anibale Fly by a length-and-a-half.

Master Of Verse sent off the even-money favourite, failed to pick up in the straight and could only finish a well-beaten fourth.

"He won't go jumping a hurdle until next season. We'll find a winners bumper for him and that'll be it for the season then," said Elliott of the winner.

"He's a nice horse. The owners (Diana Whateley) had a horse with me before and I think that's their first winner trained in Ireland."
