Joeswayornoway scooted away to take the handicap hurdle on Clonmel's card for Dusty Sheehy and Philip Donovan.
The five-year-old made good headway in third approaching the straight in this two-mile contest. She delivered her run on the inner to sweep into the lead before the second last.
She had Amlad for company jumping it but began to pull away between the final two flights.
She popped the last full of running and clear of Amlad who flicked his legs through the top of it.
The 9/1 shot took the honours in good style by seven and a half lengths from 6/1 Amlad. Shantou Sisu was a remote 13 lengths back in third at 11/2. He was two lengths in front of 15/8 favourite Added Bonus
Sheehy said: "I don't know why she was such a big price - I thought she'd be favourite!
"She is a grand, honest little mare and had a great run in a maiden hurdle, which worked out well, in Naas. I thought coming here today she'd have a right chance after her last run here.
"She is in a handicap on Sunday - I put her in just in case she would win, and she'll run if she's well. She's not a real summer mare and would like soft ground.
"I was looking for a 7lb claimer and asked Ruaidhri Tierney (jockeys' agent) and he recommended Philip who now rides out for me once a week. Philip is freelancing, with Edward O'Grady and John Ryan, and he rode that horse well, he did what he was asked and there was no more he could do."
