So I Told You landed plenty of bets when bolting up in the extended 10 furlong handicap for three-year-olds and older in Sligo.

She took a fillies' handicap by half a length over a similar trip at this track at the start of the month for which she was given 2lb by the handicapper.

All prices from 7/4 down to even money were snapped up about the favourite and her backers had few moments of concern.

She was well sited on the rail in third behind front-runner Dedillon before being switched out to improve racing into the final three furlongs.

The Gleneagles filly closed on Dedillon at the two pole and had her measure swinging in.

She moved clear of that rival by the final furlong and was soon ridden to put the race away. She was eased down in scoring by five lengths. Blue Shadow (11/2) came through for second and was three and a half lengths in front of Gee Rex (17/2).

Jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle said: “She won well. I got a lovely tow into it from Andrew (Slattery, on front-runner Dedillon) and once I pulled her out at the two pole she quickened up really well.

“She was hitting the line strongly.

“She’s after improving a lot from the last day as well.”

This made it two from two for So I Told You since joining Joseph O'Brien from Richard Hughes. She won a fillies' maiden at Nottingham in her seven-race career in Britain.
