Sabrina Harty recorded her first double at Dundalk this evening, as Ned's Indian took division one of the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap, following on from Harty's earlier success with Have A Nice Day in the second.

The five-year-old gelded son of Sleeping Indian won at Gowran and Killarney over the summer, and on his third start on the all-weather he recorded his third success.

He finished a close-up third at the Co Louth venue two weeks ago to the day, and he went off a 7/2 joint-favourite this evening.

After disputing the lead in the early stages, the bay victor was settled in second, before improving to lead two furlongs from home.

He was driven out from there, coming home a comfortable length and a half in front of Noble Call in second at 14/1 under Tom Madden for Johnny Levins. Try Freedom finished back in third at 14/1 under Robbie Downey for Peter Casey, while the other joint-favourite, Teajaybe finished a disappointing eighth under Gary Carroll for Michael Mulvany.

Harty said afterwards: "All the horses have been running well, and this is another hardy little horse.

"He was having awful trouble with sore shins, but we have sorted that out now. I just feel sorry for Rory Cleary who is suspended (rode the winner on his last start).

"Colin gave him a great ride. We were thinking of giving him a break, but Rory said that he was still in good form and to keep going.

"He is an easy horse to keep fit, he is very clean winded. He is owned by Edward Power from New Ross."
