Colin Keane partnered a 39/1 double on the evening as Hurricane Helen added to four wins in the UK when landing division one of the Story Of Dundalk Stadium Book Buy Online Handicap.
The five-year-old grey mare has had a number of trainers since moving across the Irish Sea from Rod Millman and was having her first start here for Chris Timmons.
The 8/1 chance made good headway early in the straight and after leading over a furlong out, was driven out to beat the staying on Nibras Rainbow by half-a-length. Gosford was a length and three quarters back in third.
Keane was also successful earlier on the card aboard I Am Superman
Timmons said, "That's her first run for us, so we are still learning about her. I didn't buy her, the owners sent her to me. She has settled into the yard well and into our routine. We've had her for probably six to eight weeks.
"She has been working well, her work has been good, but I think it was an ordinary kind of race. It might be good for her confidence to get her head in front.
"I don't know if there is anything for her before Christmas, but we'll freshen her up (for the new year). Colin said she would have no bother going up in trip either. She might be versatile that way."
