Well-known Dublin publican Eugene Kavanagh's colours are most commonly seen in the National Hunt sphere but the familiar purple and orange silks got a successful airing through the John Larkin-trained House Limit in the Dundalk Stadium On Facebook Handicap.
The handicapper can be proud of his efforts here with not much more than two lengths covering the first seven home.
With Ben Curtis in the plate, the victorious Red Clubs gelding saw it out best to beat Pivotal Rock by a neck.
This was a messy heat and more than one runner got trouble in running including favourite Golden Clubs and Teajaybe
John Larkin trains House Limit and he said: "I'm delighted for the owner. He owns a pub in Dublin – the Gravediggers (in Glasnevin). I'm told it serves the best pint of Guinness in Dublin.
"This horse is just a handicapper, what more can I say."
Larkin remarked of Muck'N'Brass, claimed by an owner of his, Breen White, out of the first: "He might sell him at Newmarket and try to take a profit or else he could go hurdling.
"He's small enough but on pedigree he looks like he could make a hurdler." (AM & EM)
