Conditional jockey Denis Hogan got off the mark as a trainer at Thurles today when steering his Kylebeg Krystle to an easy five and a half lengths win over Carnbridge

The daughter of Oscar led from the third last flight, eventually stretching clear for an easy win.

Hogan, who was partnering his sixth winner of the season and is based with Charlie Swan, later stated “I only have my license since last summer and my father Martin owns Kylebeg Krystle. I have four horses in training and use Charlie Swan's gallops.”
