Conor Hoban soon took the initiative after a slow early pace, aboard Gift Wrap in the Christmas Party Packages At Dundalk Stadium Nursery Handicap (Plus 10 Race). In the end Godolphin's Raven's Pass filly romped to a six length success.
The Michael Halford-trained juvenile was gone beyond recall from the two pole and it was left to favourite Stone Mountain to chase her home.
"We wanted to step up in trip but she's always been a bit keen. Damian O'Donnell has done a great job at home getting her settled," explained Halford.
"Conor said there would not be much pace in the race, so we said we'd wait 50 yards to see what happened. I'm delighted for Conor as he's a great team player, and it's nice to get him an opportunity with Shane (Foley) not around.
"She got her own way tonight, and she showed there what she has been showing us at home. It's nice to get her head in front as she had become a bit frustrating."
