Thomas Doran recorded his third winner when producing Comehere Hi with a devastating late surge to cause a 20/1 shock in the Panoramic Restaurant For Raceday Hospitality Handicap Hurdle at Punchestown.
The James Nash-trained mare won a maiden at Kilbeggan last month before disappointing on her handicap debut at Gowran Park but really bounced back to form here.
She was only fifth over the final flight but finished to such great effect that she had a length and a half to spare over Sizing Scorpion at the line. Omega Springs held every chance a further three quarters of a length back in third in this two-mile event.
Nash said, "In Gowran she just jumped badly and never got into a rhythm. She nearly got brought down at the second last which also exaggerated how far she was beaten.
"I thought after she'd won her maiden hurdle that it was a bonus and now she's after winning two. She did it well today.
"I've no plan and we'll look for something in a month's time, maybe a mares' handicap hurdle. She looks to be improving and you never know with mares when they'll stop improving.
"Tom gets on with her and gave her a very good ride."
