Hero readily lands the odds on hurdle debut
No More Heroes (Bryan Cooper) clears the last in style to win easily

Gordon Elliott is already dreaming about a career over fences with No More Heroes after the imposing son of Presenting readily justified prohibitive odds on his hurdling debut at Punchestown.
The Gigginstown-owned gelding impressed in two bumper wins last season and, with Outlander (declared in error) an absentee in the same colours, the former winning pointer was sent off a red-hot 2/11 chance.
Bryan Cooper elected to make all and the five-year-old galloped on strongly in the straight to beat Mells Theater by eight and a half lengths. Undressed was a further length and a half adrift in third.
Elliott said, “He’s a grand big horse, and I’d say the further he goes the better. He’ll be a chaser down the road.
“I’m not sure where he’ll go next but he likes big galloping tracks like this.”
