Jessica Harrington is considering which hurdle race to go for at the Punchestown festival with her mare Jetara, a Listed and Grade 3 winner earlier in the season.

Placed at Grade 1 level in her most recent outings at Leopardstown and Fairyhouse, the six-year-old will again run at that level in either the Alanna Homes Champion Novice Hurdle on the Friday or the Coolmore N.H. Sires Bolshoi Ballet Irish EBF Mares Champion Hurdle on the final day of the festival the following afternoon.

"I don't know which race she'll go for yet, I'd say she'll race against the boys (on the Friday) with Lossiemouth going for the mares' race," said Harrington.

“The mares novice is no good to her so we'll either go to the Grade 1 mares or the two-and-a-half against the boys, I'd say that's probably the most likely getting the 7lb.

“I just don't want it tacky for her.”
