Jessica Harrington is counting down the days to the new national hunt season for today's Limerick winner Onlyhuman as the trainer has hurdling in mind for the gelding who overcame traffic congestion to land the Sports & Social Outings At Limerick Handicap.

Ridden by Shane Foley, the son of Invincible Spirit travelled well in mid-division for most of the race but found himself in a pocket entering the home straight. Foley eventually managed to find racing room with a furlong and a half to race and in the end the pair stayed on well for a half length win over Jake Peter

Afterwards Harrington said "he was a bit unlucky in Leopardstown and has done it well today. He will get 1m4f and as long as there is a bit of an ease in the ground we'll keep going with him.

"We said we were going to step him up in trip because he is going hurdling. He is a super jumper, I have him well schooled and that's probably why he is settling better. He will go hurdling after the new season starts on May 1 but I might give him another run in a flat race before."
