Leopardstown was hit with 17mm of rain overnight and the going for this evening's meeting is now soft.
The first on a seven race card at the south Dublin venue gets underway at 5.55pm, with Takar among seven declared for the Listed Glencairn Stakes.
Racing tomorrow takes place at Limerick, where 8mm of rain fell overnight leaving the ground good to soft, and also at Down Royal.
The northern track is currently described as good (National Hunt and sprint course) and good to soft on the round Flat course.
The weather forecast is not too encouraging with an unsettled outlook both for today and tomorrow.
Looking ahead into next week, the provisional going for Ballinrobe on Tuesday is soft, Naas (Wednesday) is yielding while 18mm of rain fell at Tipperary (Thursday) which is now heavy.
