The Pink Ribbon Tour 4-y-o Fillies’ (Pro/Am) Flat Race went to the 5/4 favourite Grangee who raced clear after hitting the front a furlong out.
The Willie Mullins-trained newcomer by Great Pretender, a half-sister to four-time winner Box Office, scored by six and a half lengths from Champagnesocialist (17/2) with Petite Dame (14/1), who made the running, back in third.
Winning rider Patrick Mullins said: “She’s very petite and we were worried about the ground and the track.
“We came here because it was against her own sex and age group, and what’s she’s done there has exceeded our expectations.
“She handled the ground very well and Jack Cantillon who bought her (for Syndicates Racing), deserves a lot of credit.
“She was bought from France broken and in training and it’ll be a matter of seeing what Willie wants to do with her now.
“The pressure was on for me there as Rachael (Blackmore) and Brian (Hayes), my housemates, had already ridden winners today.”
