On day two of Irish Derby weekend at the Curragh, the going is now good after 6mm of rain last night. Fresh ground is in use on both tracks.

There is the possibility of another couple of millimetres of rain throughout the morning, and there could be a downpour which is deemed unlikely. A mainly dry day is expected thereafter.

The first of eight races is off at 1.15pm, while the featured Group 1 Cairn Community Games Pretty Polly Stakes is at 3.30pm. British-raider Bluestocking who was runner-up in last season's Irish Oaks, heads the market for this €300,000 contest over 1m2f. Rossa Ryan partners Ralph Beckett's charge.
