There are two meetings in Ireland today - Cork and Naas.

Cork's jumping fixture gets under way at 2.20pm with the Grade B Kinsale Handicap Steeplechase at 3.55pm the highlight.

Morning-price favourite is Michael Hourigan's Run With The Wind ridden by Ruby Walsh. Course and distance winner and top-weight Pires is among his rivals along with Cause Of Causes Dick Dundee and Absolutlyfantastic

Cork is still Good, Good to Firm in places on the hurdle track and Good on the chase track. There was 9mm of rain overnight. Showers are forecast.

Meanwhile, Naas hosts eight races - five flat contests, two hurdle races and a bumper. Triumph Hurdle winner Our Conor makes his eagerly-awaited reappearance in the €50,000 Woodlands 100 Club October Handicap at 4.55pm.

The first is off at 1.40pm. The card also features the valuable Birdcatcher for juveniles (2.40pm) and the Listed Clodovil EBF Garnet Stakes at 3.15pm.

Aidan and Joseph O'Brien are represented by Craftsman in the Birdcatcher and this colt disputes favouritism with Hidden Oasis for David Wachman and Fran Berry.

Verglas filly Spinacre makes a raid over to Ireland for the Garnet Stakes. She is now trained in England by Roger Varian, having been with Kevin Prendergast when winning her maiden in Roscommon in August last year by 10 lengths.

The ground at Naas is now Soft on the flat track and Yielding on the National Hunt track. Showers are forecast.
