Going reports
Listowel

Listowel gets under way at 2.35pm today and the going is soft on the National Hunt course and heavy on the flat track. There was 5mm of rain overnight. Fresh ground will be used on flat and hurdle courses tomorrow and Saturday. The forecast is for showers today and a dry day tomorrow.
The highlight on the card is the €40,000 Grade C Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle at 5.05pm. Grange in the JP McManus colours that will be sported by AP McCoy for trainer Edward Harty is the morning price favourite. He has been off the track since running second to Flying Light at Leopardstown last Christmas.
Tony Martin's Pires is likely to be popular as the nine-year-old won a chase in Ballinrobe at the end of August. He is rated much lower over hurdles than fences. He currently trades around 5/1.
The ground at Ballinrobe ahead of Tuesday's fixture is currently good on the chase track and yielding on the hurdle course. Showers are forecast for today.
