We are into the third day of the Harvest Festival at Listowel and the going is now soft (National Hunt course) and heavy on the flat track following 6mm rain this morning. It is currently raining.
Island hurdles on the outside are in use at Listowel today. The weather forecast is for rain, clearing later and then sunshine and showers tomorrow.
The feature is the Grade C Lartigue Handicap Hurdle worth €45,000 and off at 5.45pm. In early trading three horses are battling for favouritism - Gordon Elliott's Bayan and the Willie Mullins pair Security Breach and Call Me Bubbles at the top of the weights.
Meanwhile, the ground at Gowran Park ahead of Sunday's meeting is currently good to firm, good in places. Further rain is forecast over the coming three days.
