The ground at Punchestown is currently good to firm after 5mm of rain overnight. Racing gets under way this evening at 5.45 and there are seven races on the card.
After running unplaced in the Aintree Grand National, Seabass returns in the Follow Punchestown on Facebook Steeplechase over two miles six at 6.15. Rathlin and Jetson are two of his main rivals in this eight-runner contest.
Gowran Park is good to firm, good in places ahead of racing tomorrow while Tramore is good to firm (selective watering will continue to maintain) in advance of racing on Friday.
Also on Friday there is action at Down Royal where the ground is now good, good to yielding in places (NH) and good to yielding (flat) after 5mm of rain overnight.
Elsewhere, the going at Listowel remains heavy on the flat course and heavy, soft in places on the National Hunt track following 3mm of rain overnight. Two days of racing at the Co Kerry track starts on Sunday.
