The ground at Roscommon is now Good, Yielding in places after 3.5mm of rain overnight. Light showers are possible this morning with a dry afternoon expected.

The National Hunt card gets under way this evening at 5.55pm. Whenthewindblows is a major market mover in the extended two mile handicap hurdle at 6.25pm. In-form Stephen Mahon's horse is 16/1 from 50/1.

Leopardstown hosts a card on the Flat on Thursday evening and the ground is now Good to Firm. There is a risk of rain this morning with a dry forecast thereafter.

Meanwhile, ahead of National hunt racing on Friday evening, Cork reports its ground to be Good. Watering continues to maintain. Showers are forecast today with mainly dry weather expected afterwards.

The Darley Irish Oaks takes place at the Curragh on Saturday where the ground remains Good, Good to Firm in places (on the straight) and Good to Firm (on the round course). There was 1.5mm of rain overnight.

Sligo is back in action on Sunday and the ground is Good, Yielding in places (after 4mm of rain overnight). The weather is expected to be dry over the coming days.
