Winning trainer Griffin said afterwards, "My gut told me we had it, but I didn't want to call it. I'm delighted the horse won especially for the owner Mark Taylor as he unwell at the moment and hopefully this will give him a boost. The better ground and the blinkers definitely helped, he's still a bit green but hopefully we'll be able to pick up another one or two with him."
