Forge Meadow went into many notebooks when routing a big field in the valuable Tattersalls Ireland George Mernagh Memorial Sales Bumper in Fairyhouse.

Of the 16 runners only Morgan had been seen before when unseating three out in a point-to-point at Liscarroll last Sunday.

Jessica Harrington 's Forge Meadow was ridden by her daughter Kate Harrington. The four-year-old filly showed her turn of foot as he drew right away from her rivals inside the final quarter of a mile to hit the line five and a half lengths to the good. Geneva Barracks (16/1) won a battle for second with Morgan (11/1) by a neck. Narcissistic was the nicely backed 6/4 favourite for Gigginstown, Gordon Elliott and Jamie Codd but he finished seventh.

Jessica Harrington said: "I've been trying to win this race for a while and had the second (Sunni May) last year. She has been showing us that she is useful but you never really know what you need in this race.

"She will go for the Mares Listed Bumper at Punchestown. She's entitled to go for that now."

The winner picked up 59,000 euro for connections on her debut.
