“He said he’ll jump and travel wherever you are. He’s a very easy man to ride for and leaves it to yourself.

“Willie’s horse (Lord Royal) has been very disappointing for his mark and Mark thought his horse has improved for jumping fences. He has a great spring to him.

“He’s a summer horse as most of Mark’s are. He’s one of the best out there and I’d love to see him getting some good winter horses as he’s well able to train.

“They have done a good job on the ground here under these temperatures.”
